Bethany Bomberger is an educator by profession. She taught for over a decade in public and private schools in both suburban and urban settings. As a homeschooling mama, she’s passionate about school choice. Bethany is the Executive Director of The Radiance Foundation. She’s an international public speaker, podcaster (LifeHasPurpose.com) and author of the ground-breaking children’s book PRO-LIFE KIDS!. From women’s conferences to pregnancy center galas to Supreme Court rallies, she loves speaking about how faith makes us stronger than our circumstances.

Bethany and Ryan (both given the Christian Service Alumni Award from their undergrad alma mater Messiah University) met at Regent University where they earned their Master’s Degrees. They first met at a planning meeting for a pregnancy care center where Ryan was the lead singer of the band holding a benefit concert for the center. It was love at first sight! Their relationship took a 6-year detour. In the meantime, both Ryan and Bethany experienced life-changing situations that would shape their lives as they never could have imagined. (See the full story here.)

Bethany was a single mom for a year. In her late 20s, she left a toxic relationship only to find out she was pregnant. The unplanned pregnancy radically and beautifully changed her life. She and Ryan reconnected in a love story journey that could fill the pages of a book (one day). On their wedding day, Ryan became a husband and an instant father to a one-year old precious baby girl.

Fast forward from 2006, and three more precious children have been added to the family. On July 11, 2011, Ryan was able to adopt their oldest daughter — Radiance — and both parents adopted their youngest son, Justice. It all happened just hours apart in an Atlanta courthouse. Years of battling for their oldest and seemingly impossible favor culminated in one powerful day where Radiance and Justice officially became Bombergers.

Ryan and Bethany have been happily married for seventeen years. They launched the Adopted & Loved initiative back in November of 2013. In 2021, thanks to an incredible game-changing donation, they created The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted & Loved Fund to help Christian families provide a loving home for vulnerable children through adoption.

Their hearts are to shift culture to value the most vulnerable, in and out of the womb, whether humanly “planned” or unplanned.
