The Adopted & Loved Fund

What is it?

The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund exists because everyone is wanted by someone. The Fund helps cover the costs of adoption for Christian families.

How does it work?

The Radiance Foundation works with Christian adoption agencies with a solid biblical worldview in finding families, with a married father and mother, in need. Applicants must go through a rigorous vetting process which includes their home study and our own application where potential grantees must affirm our Statement of Faith

Twice a year, The Radiance Foundation accepts unsolicited applications from adoption agencies and pregnancy centers we work with. We also consider referrals from the Bomberger family and Radiance Foundation Board members. After extensive vetting, review and prayer, the Adopted and Loved committee selects grantees on May 1st and November 1st of each year. Our hope is, in the near future, that we will have a million dollars each year to issue in funding (and greatly expand the number of grants) so that costs are no longer a barrier to adoption for loving Christian families.

 All donations are tax-deductible.

Who are Henry & Andrea Bomberger?

Andrea and (the late) Henry Bomberger are the parents of Radiance cofounder, Ryan Bomberger. They had three biological children and adopted ten children of varying ethnicities and backgrounds. Andrea’s heart for adoption grew out of her own brokenness as a daughter of a mother and alcoholic father who separated when she was only 5 years old. She was temporarily placed in a children’s home for one year. She just wanted to be a “mommy to those who didn’t have one.” She and Henry loved those that the world so easily discards. Their faith in Jesus, unwavering commitment to each other, and devotion to all of their children helped unleash God-given purpose. The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund was created to continue their legacy of love.

Meet the Crosses

Tanner was a devoted teacher who lovingly spoke up for the truth at a Loudoun County school board meeting. He was fired the next day. God used that crazy situation to answer a decade-long prayer. Meet Tanner and Angela Cross — the first family to be the recipient of The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund!

Meet the Tukes

Ari and Quinette love children. They’ve worked with youth for years but could never have children of their own. Their hearts longed to be parents and love a child through adoption, but the costs made it seem impossible…until our Board Member Abraham Hamilton III told them about our new adoption fund. Meet Ari & Quinette Tukes — the second family to be the recipient of The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund!
